This Class-A large-scale Office and Residential project was designed as a regional headquarters for three major oil companies, Sonangol, Esso and BP. This Office Tower with attached Condominium Building meets the clients’ in-country needs for visibility and profile.
The concrete column and 2-way plate structures are constructed utilizing local craftsmen and materials. The tower is elevated 64 meters above grade to take advantage of the views of Luanda Bay, provide underground parking and ensure a higher level of security. The condominium tower is designed to meet the needs of local / expatriate employees and VIP guests. The pool deck with clubroom is located on the roof of the parking garage and is a valuable amenity to both residents and office staff. The professional tower provides ample open workspace, along with a 350-seat cafeteria and conference facility.
World-class security design was implemented on the entire development. The tower complex is self sustaining with onsite co-generation for electricity, water purification and waste treatment. The project sets the standard for the African continent and is a sustainable green building.
